  • Simon Cowell is a Sydney-born and Berlin-based concept artist with a strong foundation in classical fine arts and extensive experience in the entertainment industry. His journey into the world of art began at a young age, driven by an enduring passion for creativity and visual storytelling. Exploring various artistic disciplines, from sculpture and drawing to digital animation and graphic design, Simon ultimately gravitated towards drawing and painting, captivated by the ability to craft immersive worlds with simple tools.

In 2007, Simon commenced his formal training at the Julian Ashton Art School, a renowned classical fine arts atelier. There, he honed his skills through rigorous study of the human figure and developed a profound appreciation for capturing the essence of the world and its inhabitants.

Since beginning his professional career with Fuel VFX in 2009, Simon has contributed concept art to a diverse array of projects, including television commercials and blockbuster films. His portfolio includes work on major productions such as Iron Man 3, Avengers: Age of Ultron, Peter Rabbit, and Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2, collaborating with leading studios like Fuel VFX and Animal Logic. His artistic achievements have been recognized with prestigious awards, including the A.M.E. Bale Travelling Scholarship, which enabled him to refine his craft through extensive travel across Europe and the United States.

Simon offers a comprehensive range of concept art services, from initial ideation and visual development to detailed design and illustration, tailored to meet the needs of film, television, gaming and commercial projects.
